The Forty-X™ disc filter from Siemens Water Technologies is the ultimate barrier in tertiary filtration. It captures more solids in a smaller footprint with a pleated media design and has evolved to incorporate X-tra's that are important in woven cloth media filtration.

Our Forty-X™ disc filter provides 40% more filtration area than any other woven media flat panel design and includes a 10-micron absolute media rating. The pleated panel design includes a robust pressure-assisted seal that allows the panel to sustain and operate at twice the headloss of any other flat panel disc filter in the marketplace today. Another X-tra is the trash tolerant box design that ensures the unhindered flow of water between panels and the proper rejection of plastics, algae clumps and other floatables. The sliding covers on the tank are another X-tra feature that makes accessibility and maintenance an easy task.

The modular design offers flexibilty for a broad range of flows and applications including tertiary filtration, water reuse and process water filtration. With more filtration area, higher operational headloss capability, water pressure assisted seals and trash tolerant boxes, the Forty-X™ disc filter includes the X-tra's that redefine filtration, delivering distinct performance and operational advantages over leading pile media systems.
