Eastman Kodak Company's Document Imaging business earned multiple honors for its product portfolio during the recent AIIM 2007 Conference & Exposition in Boston.

After receiving four finalist designations in the AIIM Readers' Choice awards, two KODAK scanners emerged as winners in the hardware competition. The KODAK i1860 Scanner won in the production category (greater than 90 pages per minute), while the KODAK i1320 Scanner took mid-volume honors (40 to 90 ppm). Additionally, the KODAK Scan Station 100 and the KODAK i1220 Scanner had been named as finalists in their respective sub-categories.

The awards, sponsored by AIIM and AIIM E-Doc Magazine, recognize software and hardware manufacturers in the enterprise content management industry as selected by the readers of the magazine. "We'd like to congratulate the winners," said AIIM President John Mancini. "And thank the readers of the magazine that voted for the products that they feel are deserving of this prestigious award."

In the ECM Connection ACE Awards, Kodak was again a winner, honored for its expertise in the high-level scanning category. Kodak was also a finalist in the low-volume scanning category.

"We're very honored by and excited about this recognition," said Dolores Kruchten, General Manager and Vice President, Document Imaging, Kodak's Graphic Communications Group and Vice President, Eastman Kodak Company. "We think it is a strong commentary not only on the innovation and quality of our document imaging products, but also the value in productivity they bring to our customers as they digitally manage documents for their businesses every day."

The ACE designation honors a company's noteworthy achievement across three criteria: Appeal, Content, and Education. The awards recognize vendors that are making extra efforts to promote the education and adoption of enterprise content management technologies within specific markets beyond their overall horizontal offerings.
