KnowledgeLake Honored As A Microsoft Public Sector Partner Of The Year
KnowledgeLake recently announced its recognition as a 2010 Microsoft U.S. Public Sector Partner of the Year. The award honors KnowledgeLake's innovative use of Microsoft technology in support of the Kentucky Housing Corporation. Winners and finalists were nominated and selected by Microsoft's U.S. Public Sector team working throughout the nation.
"Our partners leverage Microsoft technologies to address the most pressing challenges facing state and local government customers," said Gail Thomas Flynn, Vice President, US State and Local Government at Microsoft. "KnowledgeLake's implementation shows what can be accomplished when great technology is combined with government expertise."
KnowledgeLake was recognized as the State and Local Government (SLG) Central Region Partner of the Year for its work in Housing Authority agencies, specifically the Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC). KHC deployed an ECM solution based on KnowledgeLake and Microsoft SharePoint. Together, these products provide a content management system that easily captures, stores, and searches documents, regardless of whether they are received as copies, or electronic information received through email or fax. The KHC staff can now process loans and applications with greater efficiency, enabling the agency to better serve the housing needs of Kentucky families.
"KnowledgeLake is thrilled to work with Microsoft in the Public Sector to provide innovative Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions for Microsoft SharePoint," said Tom Postulka, Director of Strategic Alliances, KnowledgeLake, Inc. "Our solutions are a perfect fit for the public sector, and we have completed recent implementations in Housing Authorities, Department of Rehabilitation Services, Department of Motor Vehicles, and Mental Health and Mental Retardation Authority (MHMRA)."
KnowledgeLake provides an affordable, platform-based solution for managing a company's unstructured content directly from SharePoint. Its SharePoint ECM solution is enterprise scalable and comprehensive, and enables the searching, viewing, securing, routing and annotating of a company's mission critical electronic content. It is built entirely within SharePoint, and it is easy to implement, easy to administer, low risk, and low cost.
The Microsoft Partner Program is designed for all partners who develop and market solutions based on Microsoft platforms, provide consulting or technical services on Microsoft systems, or recommend Microsoft technology purchases. Microsoft partners include consulting services providers, independent software vendors (ISVs), independent hardware vendors, large account resellers (LARs), original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), support providers, system integrators, system builders, training providers, value-added resellers and value-added providers.
