Spectra Logic Awarded Five-Year Extension Of U.S. Government Services Administration Contract

Marks Three Consecutive Years Spectra Ranked in Top 10 Percent of GSA Schedule 70 Revenue

Spectra Logic, celebrating 30 years of data storage innovation, announced recently that it was granted a five-year listing extension on the U. S. General Services Administration (GSA) information technology (IT) Schedule 70. Spectra Logic offers archive and backup products uniquely suited for federal agencies that must maintain high data security levels and meet continuity of operations objectives. Under the contract extension, Spectra Logic's product family will continue to be listed on the GSA schedule through August 2015.

Spectra Logic's archive and backup products have been listed on GSA Schedule 70 since 2003 under GSA contract number GS-35F-0563K. In 2007, 2008 and 2009, Spectra ranked in the top 10 percent of revenue-generating companies for Schedule 70.

GSA establishes long-term government-wide contracts with commercial firms to provide access to more than 11 million commercial products and services that can be ordered directly from GSA Schedule contractors.
