June 9, 2010

iCONECT Development LLC, a world leader in litigation support and collaboration software, recently announced that its chief operating officer, Ian Campbell, is chairing Main Conference Day One of the Federal Records Management Training Conference which begins today. Held at the Sheraton National hotel in Arlington Virginia, the conference attracts top Federal and Defense leaders to discuss topics critical to managing the e-Discovery process and to share best practices. The event includes two full days of presentations and panel discussions.

Campbell will deliver the chairperson's opening remarks at 8:15 and then moderate the day's panel discussions. "Our presenters and panelists are among the most knowledgeable and influential authorities in e-Discovery in the government. I expect lively discussion and highly valuable information for all attendees," said Campbell.

The topic of the morning panel is "Setting up an Electronic Information Management Office/Team/Process/System" and the panelists are James Willson-Quayle, Ph.D., Chief, Records, Research and Content Branch, US Joint Staff; Larry Creech, Program Manager, Information Catalog Program, Corporate Information Security, Information Technology, US Postal Service (USPS); and Dr. Bruce Hartley, Director, Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP.

"Getting High-Level Buy-In From Throughout Your Organization: Making The Business Case For eDiscovery Readiness" will be discussed in the afternoon by panelists Jeanette Plante, Director, Office of Records and Management Policy, Department of Justice (DOJ); and Daniel Lim, Senior Director and Assistant General Counsel, Guidance Software, Inc.

Campbell's opening remarks will urge attendees to take action with the information gleaned, and not "to put it in a binder on a shelf."
