Cityscape Art Display
Our designers take a 3- × 1-ft panoramic print of a selected skyline photographed by James Blakeway. They pick out all of the main lights and landmarks in the photograph (over 140 points of light) and attach fiber optics to them. The fiber optics are individually hand woven and manually seared. Using an electric motor and a color wheel for illumination of the fiber optics, resulting in a rhythmic glowing wave effect.
All components are mounted and hidden in a handcrafted wood frame. Frames are available standard in black, gray, blue, green, purple and brown. Stained and custom color frames are also available. The frames are covered with tempered glass to keep out dust and protect the fiber optic lights. The pieces use standard 120 V AC components.
The company also produces custom cityscape pieces and offers wholesale pricing. Framed and unframed prints available.
