CQ-3270 Windows provides terminal emulation of IBM's 3270 Synchronous Data Link Control (SDLC) interactive terminals and controllers for PC-to-mainframe/host connectivity. Features include a true Graphical User Interface (GUI); IBM's IND$FILE file transfer; multiple simultaneous Logical Unit (LU) devices; easy configuration of communication parameters; convenient toolbar and Smartkey Pad; customizable color, font, and cursor attributes; auto-dialing and auto-answer support; a powerful scripting language; audit and trace diagnostic features; security features, including auto-dial back; and a graphical keyboard remapping utility program. This synchronous connectivity solution offers flexibility through multiple connection types such as remote dial-up, dedicated leased line, T1, Fractional T1, ISDN, X.25/X.32, satellite, Frame Relay, ATM, direct connect, and more. Communications may be established through a variety of interfaces, including quick and convenient Hayes AutoSync 2 external, internal, or PCMCIA modems (which do not require an additional internal adapter card) and powerful high-speed CQ-Sync internal adapter cards.
