IAP Worldwide Services Wins Major U.S. Army Contract

Cape Canaveral, FL -- IAP Worldwide Services has been awarded the Heavy Lift VI – Line Haul Services IDIQ contract for Iraq and Kuwait by the U.S. Army. The new award, a follow-on to contracts currently being performed by IAP, is valued at $225 million over five years.

"This new Heavy Lift award reflects IAP's continuing commitment to support our government clients with a broad range of capabilities and services in diverse locations," said Al Neffgen, IAP CEO. IAP will support the U.S. Army with line haul, heavy lift and personnel transportation services throughout Kuwait and Iraq. Under the contract, IAP will provide heavy lift equipment to move equipment, cargo and personnel within the theater of operations, up to 1,000 kilometers from Kuwait. The new award is for a one-year base period with four one-year options.
