Livanta LLC Names Kirk Grothe CEO

Livanta LLC today announced that Kirk Grothe was recently named Chief Executive Officer (CEO). In his role as CEO he will develop Livanta’s strategic vision and guide the firm’s overall direction.

“Kirk’s wealth of experience and industry knowledge make him a key addition to Livanta,” said Livanta Chairman, Anthony Wisniewski. “His appointment represents our commitment to maintain Livanta’s leadership position in our industry. Kirk will play a significant role in helping us to identify new revenue streams while remaining focused on delivering excellence to our clients.”

Prior to joining Livanta, Mr. Grothe served as Vice President for Truven Health Analytics. He also founded two information technology companies and served as the Chief Information Officer for a state human services agency. Additionally he held senior level positions with IBM and Keane and spent several years at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) implementing healthcare reform. In his capacity at CMS, Mr. Grothe managed multiple divisions and was a Deputy Group Director and an Acting Group Director. A veteran of the United States Army, he began his professional career in multi-specialty group physician practice management and previously served as a Presidential Management Intern.

A Fellow at the Schafer Center for Public Policy, Mr. Grothe holds an M.S. in Applied Information Technology from Towson University, an M.P.A. from the University of Baltimore and a B.A./B.S. from York College of Pennsylvania.
