The Model-20 features Sagebrush's Roto-Lok® rotary drive to provide freedom from backlash, ultra-smooth motions and reliability
The Model-20 features Sagebrush's Roto-Lok® rotary drive to provide freedom from backlash, ultra-smooth motions and reliability that cannot be achieved with competitive gear driven pan & tilt gimbals.

A major feature of the Model-20 is that it is available in two configurations. For applications positioning one payload there is a single shelf model (shown). For applications that position two or more payloads Sagebrush offers a two-shelf model with a payload shelf on either side. This design helps keep the CG of the payloads centered on both the pan & tilt axes. The Model-20 gimbal utilizes an advanced on-board 32-bit microprocessor to control stepper motors and peripheral devices for precise motion and position control. Positioning information is transmitted to and from the gimbal via a RS-232 connection to your PC providing a virtually unlimited number of control options. For video applications it provides the power for most popular cameras. It also supports a fully integrated lens control module that provides 50 unique zoom and focus presets for external zoom lenses. Thus a single power cable supplying 12 or 24 volts ac or dc, an RS-232 control cable, and your video coax are all that is required. The Model-20 supports on-the-fly speed and direction changes. Motion commands to a defined position are accomplished by automatic vectoring of the pan & tilt axes or by individual speed and direction control of each axis. The powerful binary-based communications software optionally supports multiple communications formats. Control can be via computer or joystick. Several other powerful options are also available. If reliability, flexibility, precision, low cost and smooth operation are important to you, you will be pleased with the quality, features and performance of the Model-20 Ruggedized Pan & Tilt gimbal. The Model 20 weighs 13 lbs., and can provide a slew rate of 60° per second with a 20 lb. balanced payload. Azimuth travel range is 370°, and elevation travel range is +95° to -35° from horizontal.
