On-Site Treatment

In certain instances the most feasible alternative, both in cost and availability, is on-site treatment.
In certain instances the most feasible alternative, both in cost and availability, is on-site treatment. ERC has designed and constructed mobile treatment systems to provide complete disposal of compressed gases.

These systems are designed to provide versatile treatment options, capable of handling virtually any gas. ERC refers to this system as the Hazardous Gas Abatement System or HazGAS.

The HazGAS system is a complete treatment system enclosed in a mobile trailer. It is comprised of six separate treatment options that may be used singularly or in any combination to maximize both the efficiency and the effectiveness of the treatment operation. The entire process is housed in a secondary containment chamber.

The system includes three liquid reactors used to treat reactive gases. As the gas flows through the appropriate solution, it is reacted out, eliminating it from the flow. The system houses a caustic, acidic and an oxidizing unit capable of treating even class "A" poison dopant gases such as arsine or phosphine.

In addition to the reactors, the HazGAS system is equipped with a unit designed to thermally destroy flammable gases. Exhaust from the thermal oxidation system is returned to additional systems for removal of oxidation products.
