Rating Service

RatingSource is a new, independent rating service that provides government agencies with past performance data on architects, engineers, contractors and sub-contractors (AECs), so they can make more accurate, objective and impartial decisions.

AECs are rated on 25 industry criteria that range from "Meeting and Beating Budgets" to "Post Project Follow-up." These criteria are specific for each type of service. The ratings are conducted online and then posted on an online, interactive database, which saves government agencies time, and allows them to make decisions faster. This new service also provides them with more accurate information during the selection process.

Federal, state and local agencies, and colleges and universities can use the ratings to select the most qualified team for their project or as a predictive management tool for the chosen team. The performance ratings are of such value, to both government agencies and AECs, that many are continuing to perform the ratings on an ongoing, real-time basis.

AECs use the ratings to establish trust quickly, by having RatingSource, an unbiased third party, confirm past performance and strengthen their credibility. Additionally, the ratings report serves as a comprehensive client analysis and customer satisfaction survey.

This early warning system assures a job well done or shows where improvements are needed. With the rating reports available online, AECs also have a new marketing vehicle and the potential for hundreds of owners to view the ratings, resulting in new leads each year.
