PERMALIGHT photoluminescent anti skid floor markers do not require electricity, and are virtually maintenance-free. The markings form escape route systems to lead people to safety. Stairs, corners, and other obstacles are clearly marked, as are locations of life-saving equipment. They absorb daylight or artificial light and emit a yellowish luminance in darkness. The markings also meet the new ASTM standards: Test Method E2073-00 and Specification E2072-00 that require 2.8 mcd/m² after 60 minutes in the dark for photoluminescent safety markings.
