URS To Support U.S. Army Corps Of Engineers On Humanitarian Projects

San Francisco, CA - URS Corporation recently announced that it has been awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Far East District, to provide support for civil works, environmental remediation and humanitarian assistance initiatives in the U.S. and overseas. The services will be provided by URS on a task order basis and include engineering assessments; economic analysis; environmental studies; planning studies; site investigations, review and analysis associated with due diligence; design analysis and environmental remediation. The contract includes a one-year base period and four one-year options periods. The maximum value of the contract to URS is $29 million over the full five years.
