If you are currently using, or plan to use ArcView GIS in your organization, you will benefit from the knowledge and real-world experience of our ESRI authorized instructors to get your personnel up to speed. 3Di conducts its classes in ArcView and Avenue at state-of-the-art training facilities located in local community colleges, some of which have been designated as ESRI authorized Learning Centers. Organizations sending more than one student to a class receive a multi-student discount. Every student receives a training manual with CD containing all materials, exercises and data used in the course. Upon completion of the class, each student will receive an ESRI certificate of completion.

You can arrange for on-site training at your facility if desired.

Introduction to ArcView GIS is a two-day course that gives the hands-on experience and conceptual overview one needs to take full advantage of ArcView GIS. Students learn how to:

  • Display geographic data in a view
  • Create, edit, and query geographic data
  • Perform spatial analysis
  • Do address geocoding
  • Create presentation quality thematic maps and charts

Introduction to ArcView GIS is for persons with little or no desktop mapping or GIS experience. However, registrants should be familiar with windows software. This class will be held in a state-of-the-art training facility located in the Economic Development Center at Chesapeake College in Wye Mills Maryland. The class will be conducted by an ESRI Authorized Instructor using modern computers in a comfortable, classroom setting. Chesapeake College is an ESRI Authorized Learning Center.
