The US Department of Energy (DOE) Site Treatment Plans identified 127,300 cubic meters of low-level radioactive mixed waste. Using the company's proprietary SET process, Commodore has treated 60,000 pounds of radioactive mixed waste.
The Company has teaming arrangements and bids in both the public and private sectors for radioactive mixed waste processing. Current clients include Westinghouse, Tetra Tech, Waste Control Specialists (WCS), DOE and the US Department of Defense (DOD). Commodore has a memorandum of understanding with Envirocare of Utah for a fixed-site treatment facility to treat low-level radioactive mixed waste.
