Safe Haven Enterprise, a 100% woman business enterprise, provides prefabricated and custom designed above ground "Fire & Blast Resistant" modules to provide a safe refuge for the protection of personnel and equipment in the event of fires, blasts and severe weather conditions.
Safe Haven modules are designed to withstand a maximum temperature of 1700 degrees Fahrenheit (972 degrees Celsius) for one hour based on the standard fire temperature curve with an initial blast equal to 8 psi static uniform loading on a one foot panel.
Safe Havens are delivered equipped, operational and ready for immediate incorporation into the construction of any facility.
As an above ground storm shelter, Safe Havens are custom designed and easily lifted into place. Ideal location in the construction of a new home is a hall closet or bedroom closet.
Safe Havens are constructed from cold-rolled steel sheets in a specially formulated crimp designed to withstand storm wind forces.
Unlike plywood or concrete, Safe Havens will withstand complete penetration from fragments and debris.
Safe Havens are available in three standard closet sizes.
Custom modules are available in various sizes and 0configurations built to suit your specifications, with or without sub-floors, to store pictures and other valuables. For new construction, Safe Haven modules are placed before concrete is poured and the house is constructed around your permanent safe refuge.
Existing construction requires your Safe Haven module to be added as an addition with a permanent foundation to incorporate into the facility.
Safe Haven modules begin with a standard design welded steel shell. External and internal shell is commercially sand blasted and coated with specially mixed epoxy paint.
Safe Havens module becomes part of new construction and is incorporated in the initial concrete slab pour. Existing construction utilizes Safe Haven as an addition to facility integrated into concrete slab and finished to match exterior.
