AT-WR2411 802.11b Wireless PC Card

Allied Telesyn's AT-WR2411 wireless PC card is designed for mobile, portable notebook computers, mobile data systems, and appli-ances. The AT-WR2411 uses industry-standard IEEE 802.11b high-rate technology to build local area networks that are proliferating in general enterprise office computing, small office/home office, residential consumer, and public space markets.

Designed for greater freedom and ease of use, the AT-WR2411 operates at ranges up to 500 feet. It grants enhanced reliability through better operating margins in all locations and the advanced operating range permits superior coverage delaying, and possibly eliminat-ing, the expenditure for additional access points.

The AT-WR2411 offers multiple layers of security, including spread spectrum signaling and encryption. Secure information transmis-sion with 40 and 128-bit Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) Data Encryption gives link integrity of the wireless medium equal to that of a wire, with no throughput degradation experienced when this support is enabled.
