Boeing contracts with CSC for mainframe operations

Boeing Co.'s Integrated Defense Systems unit has awarded a six-year contract to provide mainframe computing operations from Computer Sciences Corp. of El Segundo, Calif. The contract has a potential value of more than $90 million. Computer Sciences will provide services to Boeing's locations in St. Louis; Seal Beach, Long Beach and Huntington Beach, Calif.; Philadelphia; and Mesa, Ariz., from a data center in St. Louis. Computer Sciences Corp. (NYSE: CSC) is an information technology firm. Chicago-based Boeing Co.'s (NYSE: BA) Integrated Defense Systems unit, its largest subsidiary, is based in St. Louis and is the area's second-largest employer.
