CKM-Office

CKM-Office consists of a group of add-in encryption tools for Microsoft Word 97, Microsoft Excel 97, and Microsoft PowerPoint 97. With it, you may encrypt and decrypt any MS Office 97 file without leaving the MS Office application. Each process takes only a few short steps and CKM functions can be accessed using either the CKM toolbar buttons or from the File menu.

Using TECSEC's Constructive Key Management technology, CKM-Office provides flexible document access and maximum information protection through several advanced features, including:

Users may selectively limit access to any file by applying selected credentials.

Users may select a stronger or faster encryption algorithm from a list of algorithms made available by their organization's Policy Manager.

Encryption and decryption keys are constructed only at the moment they are needed, and then are immediately destroyed. The data needed to construct the keys is not stored in the file, so even if the file falls into the wrong hands, the information it contains is safe.
