Control Panels

Knowlton Machine Engineering designs and builds electrical control panels and operator interface panels as stand alone units or as components of turnkey systems. Our in-house controls and instrumentation staff is experienced with designing controls for pick and place mechanisms, motion control, safety interlock, test and measurement functions. We do our own programming, testing and debugging either in-house or on-site.

Summary

Since 1865 Knowlton Machine Engineering has been a manufacturer of products, machinery and components ranging from "build to print" equipment to "custom" machinery which is fully designed and built by KME in response to a customer provided concept. As a systems supplier KME can provide turnkey systems, system upgrades, controls, automation and add-ons to existing equipment. Our engineering and design staff includes mechanical, electrical and hydraulic expertise along with PC and PLC software design to make it all work together. KME has successfully integrated its engineering and design team with experienced fabricators and assemblers so that the customer receives a completed system, tested and documented, which meets project requirements. KME views each and every project as an opportunity to create a stronger, closer relationship with the customer and works to satisfy the customer's needs before, during and after completion of the project.
