DLT Solutions Selected To Serve On GSA's Information Technology Industry Government Council

Herndon, VA - DLT Solutions, Inc., a government solutions provider, recently announced that it has been selected to serve on the General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Acquisition Service's, Information Technology Industry Government Council (ITIGC). The Company's term and three year membership begins in January 2007. DLT executives Craig D. Adler, executive vice president & chief financial officer, and Edward A. Abbot III, senior contracts administrator, will serve as DLT's representatives to the Council.

The Council was established in 2003 and comprises a diverse group of members representing various industries, government agencies and GSA offices. Of the 30 council members, more than half are selected from industry. Council members are objectively selected by GSA to represent and address all business concerns. DLT is one of nine new Schedule 70 holders selected to be a member of GSA's ITIGC.

The Council meets quarterly and makes annual recommendations to GSA. The Council serves strictly in an advisory capacity and does not create policy or new programs. Council members serve three year terms. Currently, the council has five committees, including cooperative purchasing, economic price adjustment, e-Tools, teaming and subcontracting and training, education and communication.

Mr. Adler will serve as DLT Solutions' primary council member. He is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 20 years of finance, contracts and operational experience in the government contracting world. He has extensive experience in leading and directing financial and administrative organizations, developing and executing comprehensive acquisition/merger strategies, and designing and implementing global accounting processes and systems. In his current role, Adler is responsible for all finance, contracts and operational order management functions. He also plays a key role in defining and implementing DLT's strategic plans.

DLT's alternate member selected to the council, Edward Abbot, has a 10-year background in directing contractors in the development of federal and state contract proposals. While his principal area of expertise is the GSA Schedule program, he also has experience with other federal Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) programs and a host of other state procurement contracts. Mr. Abbot is responsible for the overall management of DLT's GSA Schedule Contract as well as the negotiation of agreements with vendors, federal, state and local governments.
