DynCorp International Again Selected For Army LOGCAP Contract

Falls Church, VA - The U.S. Army Sustainment Command has again selected DynCorp International as one of three providers of logistics support to the U.S. Army under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) IV contract. The LOGCAP IV contract has a term of up to 10 years and a potential annual value to DynCorp International of $5B in gross revenue.

Under this contract, DynCorp International will support U.S. forces worldwide with immediate focus on those deployed in the Middle East. DynCorp International holds several important logistics and contingency contracts for the U.S. military, and was the sole holder of the LOGCAP II contract from 1997-2002.

DynCorp International is teamed with CH2M Hill and Taos Industries, Inc. (a subsidiary of Agility Defense & Government Services) for LOGCAP IV.

The initial award of the LOGCAP IV contract was made June 26, 2007, but as a result of a protest of the award to the GAO the U.S. Army requested new proposals for evaluation.

LOGCAP IV is the Army component of the Department of Defense's efforts to award contracts with U.S. companies for a broad range of logistics and support to U.S. and allied forces during combat, peacekeeping, humanitarian, and training operations. These services include facilities, supplies, maintenance, and transportation. The LOGCAP objective is to use civilian contractors to perform selected services in a theater of operations to augment Army forces and release military units for other missions or to fill shortfalls.
