Dyson Named Co-Chair Of New National League Of Cities Program

Washington, DC -- Gregory Dyson, senior vice president, marketing, at the ICMA Retirement Corporation, has been named co-chair of the Corporate Partners Program at the National League of Cities.

The newly created Corporate Partners Program has been established to promote the exchange of ideas between corporate leaders and the leaders of America's cities in order to strengthen local government, encourage economic competitiveness, and promote corporate civic engagement.

Dyson is the chief marketing executive for the ICMA Retirement Corporation, a leading provider of retirement plans and related services for the public sector. ICMA-RC manages and administers over $19 billion in public sector retirement plan assets in over 6,600 plans with more than 630,000 participants.

The National League of Cities is the oldest and largest national organization representing municipal governments of all sizes throughout the United States, from New York City to Bee Cave, TX. Its mission is
to strengthen and promote cities as centers of opportunity, leadership and governance.

During his career, Dyson, a Washington, DC native, has led the marketing efforts for a broad range of real estate and investment organizations, including the AFL-CIO Housing Investment Trust, Cushman & Wakefield; and now for the ICMA Retirement Corporation.

Dyson is also a member of the National Forum of Black Public Administrators Advisory Council. He is a frequent speaker on the subject of retirement planning.

He is a graduate Ohio Wesleyan University (BA), and the Darden School, University of Virginia (MBA). He has served as chairman of Prince George's County Minority Business Commission and the Chairman of the Prince George's County Industrial Development Authority and is currently involved with various local charities and community organizations.
