GeoEye Awarded $19.6M US Government Contracts

Dulles, VA - GeoEye, a commercial satellite imaging company has been awarded contracts totaling $19.6M by the U.S. Government to supply imagery and value-added products and services to several Federal agencies including the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), National Park Service, and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), claims the company.

GeoEye will supply imagery for these contracts from its constellation of three Earth-imaging satellites. The government Agencies will use GeoEye's finished products and services in various capacities such as mapping, change detection and for environmental monitoring, according to the company.
