Hyperion Medical, Inc. has developed a line of wound care products that provide an innovative, yet natural approach to wound management. Included within our product line are alginates, hydrocolloids and hydrophilic gels. All of our wound care products are designed or selected to incorporate the state of the art technology available for their respective dressing types. Our gel products are formulated with Hyperion, our proprietary component, which represents the culmination of our research concentrating on new and innovative wound healing agents. Hyperion is derived from a select nucleus of metallic ions in hypertonic solution. These natural metallic salts, once ionized in solution, provide an osmotic gradient across the wound bed which absorbs excess exudate and exposes newly forming tissue to essential metallic cations. Additionally, Hyperion Hydrophilic Wound Gel contains metallic ions essential for the normal cellular processes and vital for wound healing. Our alginate pads, hydrocolloids and gauze products are designed to complement our gels and to further promote the healing process.

The complete line of Hyperion wound care products has been thoughtfully designed with both the patient and practitioner in mind to assist in all facets of wound care delivery. Our unique combination of gelling agents and metallic ions produces a viscous gel with superior yield value. This allows our gel to resist leakage under secondary dressings and to remain in the wound bed regardless of patient activity or position. Our gel, when used properly and in conjunction with the other dressings in our line, gives the practitioner what he or she needs for the effective management of all types of dermal ulcers and 1st and 2nd degree burns.

Hyperion Medical, Inc. is staffed with the type of talented and committed personnel necessary to ensure that Hyperion Medical will continue to provide the most effective and efficient line of wound care products available in the market today. Continuing relationships with nationally recognized researchers and wound care experts underscore Hyperion Medical's desire to be a leader in the industry. Hyperion Medical recognizes that, to be competitive in today's sophisticated wound care market, we must provide a product that delivers all that is expected: our product must outperform the competition, be reasonably priced and also be formulated to conform to all applicable standards governing reimbursement. That is and will remain our commitment.

Hyperion Medical's product line, with corresponding treatment protocols and in-service support and education, is designed to provide the health care practitioner with the best tools available to effectively treat stage I through IV decubiti, venous stasis, diabetic ulcerations and burns.
