Industrial Security Integrators Prepares To Aid Government Contractors With DFARS Rule Changes

Industrial Security Integrators, the leader in compliance management and managed security services, will aid in assessing, obtaining, and maintaining NIST standards and CMMC levels as government contractors brace as 3 new DFARS rules become law next week.

Herndon, VA (PRWEB) - With the recent Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) rule changes, Industrial Security Integrators (IsI), the leader in compliance management and managed security services, is gearing up to help their growing list of top government contractors maintain compliance.

Industrial Security Integrators had been following the development of the new standards and has been working with clients in preparation of the Department of Defense’s recently issued new rules. The unnerving impact of the new rules will push many worried and under advised companies to overspend with vendors who will under deliver. The summary for the changes from the Federal Register reads, "DoD is issuing an interim rule to amend the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) to implement a DoD Assessment Methodology and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification framework in order to assess contractor implementation of cybersecurity requirements and enhance the protection of unclassified information within the DoD supply chain." This will have a direct impact on all IsI clients.

"We have taken a leading industry role in handling the needs of contractors for Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)," said Paul Cella, CEO of Industrial Security Integrators. "Our ability to deliver cost-effective and worry-free cyber security, compliance, and support, gives our clients the ability to focus on generating revenue and satisfying their government contracts," he added.

Some of the new rules will be going into effect as soon as November 30, 2020, which will inevitably lead to some hurried demands for status reports and assessments. "Our clients are involved with some of the most demanding and highly sensitive projects in the world. They expect us to stay on top of the latest developments in compliance, and we deliver, every time," Cella said.

Information about the rule changes can be found in the Federal Register Vol. 85, No. 189 / Tuesday, September 29, 2020.
