InterSystems Wins $14.7M DOD Healthcare Contract

Cambridge, MA - InterSystems Corporation, a database provider in healthcare, has been selected to provide its CACHÉ post-relational database software for the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD), Health Affairs, Composite HealthCare System (CHCS). The contract, with an initial value of approximately $14.7M, includes option periods which, if exercised, will bring the cumulative value to an estimated $63M, according to InterSystems.

The new contract award will put InterSystems database software at the core of healthcare delivery at 70 hospitals and more than 400 clinics serving over eight million people, claims Paul Grabscheid, Vice President of Strategic Planning at InterSystems.
