Ionatron Receives Increased Funding For Continued Technology Development

Tucson, AZ - Ionatron, Inc., a Laser Guided Energy (LGE™) company developing next generation Directed Energy Weapons, has received a modification to a U.S. Government contract for continued development of its Laser Induced Plasma Channel (LIPC™) technology. This contract was previously disclosed in the Company's 10-Q filing for the period ended March 31, 2006. The modification to the contract involves an increase in funding of $1.925M, and brings the total contract value to approximately $3.4M.
