KBR Awarded Task Orders By U.S. Army Corp Of Engineers Under CENTCOM Contract
HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--KBR (NYSE:KBR) today announced it has been awarded multiple project task orders by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) under its current CENTCOM Multiple Award Task Order (MATOC) Contract. The task order awards total just more than $197 million.
KBR competed with 9 other firms for the recently awarded task orders. Work on the projects is expected to begin immediately. KBR will provide design, engineering, construction management and/or project management services for the following six projects:
- Balad Air Base, Iraq Helicopter Maintenance Facilities
KBR will design and construct airfield pavement, hangars and offices, as well as complete site improvements. - Balad Air Base, Iraq ISR Beddown
KBR will design and construct aircraft fabric maintenance shelters and communications towers. - Balad Air Base, Iraq Fighter Ramp and Foxtrot Taxiway
KBR will design and construct airfield pavements - Camp Delta, Iraq Dining Facility (DFAC)
KBR will design and construct a dining facility at the camp. - Combat Aviation Brigade Beddown, Ali Air Base, Iraq
KBR will design and construct airfield pavement and an air traffic control tower. - Sather Air Base, Iraq Airfield Pavement Repairs
KBR will provide construction services for repairs of runway, taxiways, and ramps
