LANcat® System 6

LANcat® System 6 takes Category 5 testing one step further, providing critical information for Enhanced CAT 5 and Gigabit cabling links. System 6 includes dual LANcat Handsets equipped with C5e Modular Plug Performance Modules which provide complete compliance with TSB-67 Cat 5 test requirements, plus 2-way measurement of Power Sum NEXT, attenuation and Power Sum ACR to 250 MHz, Report Manager(tm) software, Handset protective cases, ac adapters, and a hard plastic carrying case. Tests against all cable and network standards including TSB-67 CAT 5 with Level II accuracy. Tests include wire map, length via TDR, NEXT, attenuation, propagation delay, skew, NEXT headroom, impulse noise, resistance, impedance and Power Sum NEXT/ACR. CAT 5 test takes only 20 seconds. All dual handset LANcat systems provide LinkTalk(tm) voice communications over any twisted pair test link, automatically finding usable wires even if the cable has been mis-wired. Includes built-in microphones, volume controls and earphones.

LANcat Performance Modules are used to precisely adapt LANcat cable testers to a wide variety of network cable types and to extend measuring capability. Performance Modules are compatible with all LANcat Series testers, and modules with attached test cords are field repairable if the cord needs replacement.
