ManTech Establishes Department Of Homeland Security MentorProtégé Agreement With Infinite Group
Fairfax, VA - ManTech International Corporation a provider of innovative technologies and solutions focused on mission-critical national security programs for the Intelligence Community; the Departments of Defense, State, Homeland Security, and Justice; the Space Community; and other U.S. federal government customers announced it will sponsor Infinite Group, Inc., a government-designated small business, under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Mentor-Protégé program.
ManTech will provide technical and management assistance to Infinite Group, Inc (IGI), Pittsford, NY, for business development and the expansion of IGI's proposal development methodology and organization. ManTech will assist in other mentoring activities such as marketing, market analysis and government contracts support, administration, performance and execution. IGI will also have the opportunity to participate in training programs involving program and project management, and proposal writing and capture management through highly regarded ManTech University. In addition to IGI, ManTech has Mentor-Protégé relationships with six other small businesses involving Department of Defense and civilian agencies.

The DHS Mentor-Protégé Program is designed to motivate and encourage large business prime contractors to provide mutually beneficial development assistance to small businesses, veteran-owned small businesses, and women-owned small business concerns. The program is also designed to improve the performance of DHS contracts and subcontracts, foster the establishment of long-term business relationships between DHS large prime contractors and small business subcontractors, and strengthen subcontracting opportunities and accomplishments at DHS.
