Johnson Bros. has constructed several multi-million dollar material handling projects
Johnson Bros. has constructed several multi-million dollar material handling projects ranging from the $55 million International Marine Terminal - a coal terminal at Placquemines Parish south of New Orleans, Louisiana - to the $45 million Midwest Energy Coal Terminal at Superior, Wisconsin.

We also constructed, own and operate the Orba-Johnson Coal Terminal at Keokuk, Iowa. This terminal receives coal from Wyoming via Burlington Northern unit trains and then transfers it to barges for transportation on the Mississippi River for use by local power companies.

Johnson Bros. has the experience of fast-track multi-phase construction, necessary for large material handling facilities. Our experience includes constructing docks, heavy foundations, large conveying systems, shiploaders, barge loaders, rotary car dumpers, car positioners, stacker/reclaimers and reclaim hoppers.

Many of Johnson Bros. projects are fixed-cost or cost-not-to-exceed jobs. Johnson Bros. has the planning, organization and execution skills necessary to complete these projects on time and on budget.
