Microlog Wins Contract From Redstone Arsenal For Service First Upgrade
Germantown, MD - Microlog Corporation, a Germantown, Maryland-based technology leader in Integrated Voice Response (IVR) and Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) solutions for the Government, Healthcare and lotteries, has been awarded a contract from the Redstone Arsenal to upgrade their patient appointment system at Fox Army Health Center. Based in Huntsville, Alabama, Redstone Arsenal is an element of the Army Material Command. The contract calls for a system upgrade and expansion, along with the addition of Microlog's TeleReminder, a multimedia outbound follow-up, reminder and messaging service, and the Automated Prescription Refill System, a prescription refill service available 24 hours a day, seven days a week on the web or by phone. Additionally, Microlog will also be adding Laboratory and Radiology Results capabilities and configurations to support a number of wellness initiatives.

The Fox Army Health Center delivers health care services to a population that exceeds 60,000 beneficiaries in the Tennessee Valley Area. Services include outpatient care in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Optometry, Physical Therapy, Behavioral Medicine and Preventive Medicine. They also provide a robust Pharmacy Service and limited diagnostic services in Laboratory and Radiology.
