Hudson Associates is the link between Proactive Strategy and Innovative Marketing. Allow us to introduce you to Government Relations with a Twist.

WHAT IS R. J. HUDSON ASSOCIATES?

R. J. Hudson Associates is a 21st Century government relations and business development firm working in the fast changing arena of business and government. R. J. Hudson Associates manages the intersection of the public and the private sectors. R. J. Hudson Associates analyzes and breaks down government policies, opportunities, and risks that exist for businesses.

WHY R. J. HUDSON ASSOCIATES?

Staying with the Change: It is not that everything is changing. Everything has changed! And is changing more everyday. It is the pace of the change that challenges our skills and plans R. J. Hudson Associates keeps you in the game and ahead of the curve.

New Lobbying: R. J. Hudson Associates lobbies on behalf of partners or clients. Like everyone else, the volume and detail of information pouring into their offices overwhelms government workers and principals. Lobbying is defined by sharing smart and timely information; information which informs and enriches legislation, policies and programs; information which is shrink wrapped and user friendly, so that staffs and decision makers can quickly assess its merit and put it to use. And lobbying has changed. Dinners and golf remain important in building and maintaining social relationships. But these are social events by both law and necessity, and necessity has created new lobbying.

New lobbying treats the government as its customer, delivering not simply ideas with which to work, but also finished products. Instead of adding to a list of pressures and difficult decisions, new lobbying moves the decisions forward. New lobbying offers its customers solutions rather than clutter.

CUSTOMER TO CONGRESS

How Businesses Avoid Washington, DC? They can't. Some things -- Washington, DC and the processes of government -- remain important, and they always will. Dealing with Washington is not a necessary evil; it is a fact of life and nearly all businesses will confront the government, positively or not, on their way to success. R. J. Hudson Associates'S bias is a productive one. We know the government to be a huge customer, a powerful business partner, and we believe, less adversarial to business than ever before.

The fact is, government impacts businesses in hundreds of ways. Government can be your best friend or worst enemy, a revenue maker or breaker. It all depends on your approach. So when you deal with Washington, and you will, consider R. J. Hudson Associates early on. We will save you resources: time, costs, and unwanted exposure.

SMALLER IS BETTER

R. J. Hudson Associates exists to work for you and with you. R. J. Hudson Associates is not a firm with various levels of hierarchies found in other businesses. We are small in stature and therefore, easily accessible. Our relationships with our clients are one on one, with communication channels being open and constant. In this setting, speed is a prime asset. One will not have to worry about deadlines and turnaround times. R. J. Hudson Associates considers all of it's clients members of the family. When news breaks or vital information needs to be delivered, R. J. Hudson Associates can be counted on.

THINKING TECHNOLOGY

Governments know that the single strongest engine for change is technology, but until recent years, technology has disappointed as often as it has produced. Now, ideas that have been rhetoric are gaining ground -- open architectures, database integration, internet solutions. Today, one can truly imagine commercial-like approaches.

FOLLOW THE MONEY

As government gets smaller, the dollars that government spends will certainly be reduced, but they are going to be reduced over time, not precipitously. The United States' government, and others around the nation and the world, will always be attractive and profitable markets. And many of the dollars will move from supporting government infrastructure to paying for commercial services and products. Faster, cheaper, smarter solutions are moving government money form the public to the private sector. Welcome to R. J. Hudson Associates .

FASTER, CHEAPER, SMARTER!

The following can summarize all of the realignment of goals in government: faster, cheaper, smarter. Government downsizing, acquisition reform, privatization, government reinvention -- all of these policies and programs will only be achieved by faster, cheaper, smarter solutions.

SIX DEGREES OF SEPARATION

There will never be six degrees of separation between R. J. Hudson Associates and the right people in government. We do not know everyone, but we probably know their associate or their friends. R. J. Hudson Associates has a national and international network of contacts, enabling both speed and substance in our work. Who you know in business determines your success; with R. J. Hudson Associates, your network will expand exponentially.

HOW R. J. HUDSON ASSOCIATES WILL WORK FOR YOU

R. J. Hudson Associates offers a variety of alternatives for contracted services. Contracts can be based on a monthly retainer, hourly based, or a combination of the two. R. J. Hudson Associates will determine the best methods in helping you achieve your goals and fully implement them as well. Rather it be consulting or locating an outside sales professional, R. J.
