TCS Receives $12.25M Contract For DoD Communications Interoperability Professional Services

Annapolis, MD - TeleCommunication Systems, Inc., a global leader in mission-critical wireless communications, recently announced it has been awarded a five-year, $12.25M indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract to support the Department of Defense (DoD) with professional services to ensure communications interoperability and provide specialized testing. TCS received the first task order valued at $275,000 for interoperability and integration services to be provided during the Federal fiscal year ending September 30, 2008.

TCS will support communications systems used in a variety of land, sea and air environments. TCS professional services enable customers such as the DoD to augment their workforces with experts in new communications technologies and equipment.
