Two Industry Veterans Join Oasis Systems

Lexington, MA (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Oasis Systems, a leader in Information Technology and Services to the Department of Defense announced today that it has hired two industry veterans in support of its program and strategic growth plans.

Tom Colatosti, Oasis President & CEO said, "I am pleased to welcome Steve Demers to Oasis. Steve retired from the Air Force as Colonel this February with 25 years of military service. Steve has experience in acquisition from the Air Force Research Lab, test wings, multiple program offices, two Air Staff tours and working for all four Air Force Product Centers."

Colonel Demers holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and holds two Masters degrees: one in Engineering Management from University of Dayton and his second graduate degree is from National Defense University in National Resource Strategy. Steve will be leading the company's efforts in support of the Engineering and Technology Acquisition Support Services (ETASS) contract that is expected to be awarded in 2012.

Neil Kahn has joined Oasis as the Program Manager for the Professional Services (SRG1) contract expected to be awarded in 2012 from Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio.

"Neil brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the company for this strategic opportunity," said Colatosti. "Neil retired from the Air Force in 1997 as a Lieutenant Colonel and has worked in the defense industry for the past 13 years providing acquisition support to Aeronautical Systems Center for many of the Air Force's major fighter, combat and cargo air platforms." Kahn, a Subject Matter Expert in logistics, has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Rutgers University, and Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Northern Colorado.
