Q. What is Ty Mawr Classics?
A. Manufacturers of custom design blankets, afghans, throws, pillows, and tapestry products.

Q. What does it mean to custom design a product?
A. You give us images (sketches, photos, postcards, graphic art) and we scan them into our computer program. If you have an idea in mind as to how you would like an end product like a throw, pillow or blanket to look that's how we layout the image. If you don't have an image in mind the art staff at Ty Mawr will help you with ideas on how to create a unique and collectible product. Custom design means that this is your design, you help create it. Because we go through several steps of your approving the final product like a blanket which measures 51" x 68" it will look exactly how you want it on 8 1/2" x 11" paper before it goes into production.

Q. What would I use these custom design products for?
A. Custom design products are great for promotional materials, advertising specialties, group (battalion, regiment, squads, companies, brigades, fleets, squadrons, wings) recognition, base stores, PX's, catalogs, souvenir shops. Custom designs promote group recognition, empathy and pride.

Q. What kind of fees are we looking at?
A. According to our award contract Ty Mawr waives set-up fees and shipping fees, your custom design sample is FREE. GSA pricing is 15% off of our commercial price list. We have minimum orders of 100 units in most of our product catagories. Q. Where do I send my images?
A. Art work can be emailed in tif file or jpg to tymawr@nextek.net

Q. Can the art department supply images I don't have like bicycles, trees, flowers, borders?
A. Yes

Q. How long for an initial sketch?
A. 4-7 working days.

Q. How long for the computer generated sketch of my product?
A. 7 - 10 working days after approval of the initial sketch.

Q. How long for a woven sample of our pattern?
A. 7 - 10 working days after approval of the computer generated sketch.

Q. How long until I receive my order?
A. Production varies according to the time of year and the amount ordered. Remember this is a woven product. Your product will be woven on JacQuard looms. Call or email for shipping quote. In general allow 4 - 6 weeks.

Q. Do you accept Government credit cards?
A. Yes. We accept Visa/Mastercard and EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer).

Q. What does Ty Mawr mean?
A. Ty Mawr means Large House or Big Home in Welsh.
