Uniband, Inc. (Uniband) began as a partnership between the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians (the Tribe) and Unibase, a Salt Lake City, Utah data entry company in 1987. This partnership lasted until 1989 when the Tribe became sole owner and operator of Uniband.

Uniband, incorporated in Delaware, is a minority business by virtue of being 100% owned and operated by the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians. It is located within the tribe's industrial part in Belcourt, North Dakota on the Turtle Mountain Indian Reservation

Uniband's corporate headquarters is located on the Turtle Mountain Indian Reservation, three miles west of Belcourt in north central North Dakota. Uniband headquarters is 27,266 square feet with a maximum occupancy is three hundred sixty-five operators per work shift.

Uniband also has a facility located in down town Belcourt, North Dakota. This facility is 7,000 square feet, which provides additional office space for Uniband management staff, a meeting/training room. This facility also houses a division of Uniband's telemarketing endeavor, DynaBand, a limited liability corporation of which Uniband owns 51% controlling stock.
