U.S. Department Of Homeland Security Awards SRA $42.2M Contract

Fairfax, VA - SRA International, Inc., a provider of technology and strategic consulting services and solutions, has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to provide strategy and execution support services to the Office for Interoperability and Compatibility (OIC). The task order, awarded under the General Services Administration Federal Supply Schedule, has an estimated value of $42.2M over 45 months if all options are exercised.

DHS established OIC in 2004 to strengthen and integrate interoperability and compatibility efforts to improve local, tribal, state, and federal emergency preparedness and response. Key components of OIC include the SAFECOM and Disaster Management (DM) programs. While SAFECOM is creating the capacity for increased levels of communications interoperability, DM is enabling the secure and effective exchange of incident-related data and information, according to SRA International.

Under this contract, the SRA Touchstone Consulting Group (a strategic consulting practice within SRA International, Inc.) will provide a broad range of program management support, including communications and outreach activities, legislative and budget analysis, stakeholder coordination, strategy development, and standards and requirements development and acceleration. The SRA team includes CSR Incorporated; G&H International Services, Inc.; Highlands Consulting Group, LLC; R.H Wohl & Associates; and SogomiSet, LLC.
