U.S. Navy Awards Prime Contract To ICF International For SeaPort-e IDIQ

FAIRFAX, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The U.S. Navy has awarded ICF Incorporated, L.L.C., a subsidiary of ICF International (NASDAQ:ICFI), a prime contract on the SeaPort-Enhanced (SeaPort-e) multiple award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle. Under the scope of this IDIQ, ICF can provide a wide range of engineering, technical, and programmatic support services for the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA).

"The SeaPort-e IDIQ further validates our long-standing history of providing transformation, adaptive, and analytical thought leadership to the U.S. Navy, Marines, and DTRA," said Ellen Glover, executive vice president at ICF International. "Additionally, we believe our expertise in management support, technology development, and environmental issues brings new and important capabilities to the military."

The overall objective of SeaPort-e is to provide a standardized means of issuing competitive solicitations among a select group of pre-qualified contractors like ICF, as well as a platform for awarding and managing performance-based task orders.

"With deep roots in the defense industry and a large number of personnel with DoD background, ICF can provide the depth and breadth of expertise required from a full-service consulting and services organization while remaining agile and responsive," said Walter Kozak, corporate vice president and DoD account executive at ICF International. "We are passionate about our work for DoD and view the SeaPort-e contract as an opportunity to make a difference in improving operations, performance, and the overall quality of life for warfighters and their families."

Contributing to the Navy's SeaPort-e small business goals, about 20 percent of the ICF work will be performed by small businesses.

ICF's SeaPort-e team includes BearingPoint as well as small business service providers Polaris Consulting, Corsair Engineering—a small, veteran-owned business—and e-SCI—a small, women-owned business. ICF also has an extensive list of qualified small-business partners that can easily be added to our SeaPort-e team when needed.
