Work Cell Controller

The Work Cell Controller (WCC) manages all of the diagnostic and testing functions and stores vehicle build information, test suite results, and failure analysis data in a relational data base. The WCC provides a distributed, multitasking environment that is extremely reliable. Operator interaction with the system is eased through the use of a graphical touchscreen interface, which simplifies report generation, system operation, and system administration. By using RF network links to portable audit terminals and diagnostic units, considerable flexibility in placement of the WCC is achieved while simultaneously providing real time reports and audit trails to centralized factory automation systems.
